Open a CII XML file

Not every electronic invoice arrives as a PDF. You can be sent the XML file on its own, with no readable layer around it: the same structured data, without the invoice to look at. A text editor will show you its tags, which does not help you know whether the invoice is correct.

Pruvue opens Factur-X files as PDF and standalone CII XML files. All five profiles, MINIMUM through EXTENDED, are checked the same way in both cases: you get the applied profile and the verdict, rule by rule.

What changes without a PDF is that there is no second layer to compare against. The check then bears on the data itself: the mandatory fields, and the EN 16931 business rules the file has to satisfy.
